The Big Night!

Well, the big night finally arrived when 125 or so classmates, with or without spouses, crammed into the hallway between "3 weddings and a funeral" with just one bartender. Luckily we all had name tags or we may not have known to which function we belonged.

We all spent a fun evening trying to figure out who we were talking to ("Everbody's so different I haven't changed" - Joe Walsh) while summarizing the last 50 years of our lives.

50th Reuninon Golf Outing

Despite the forecast and the predicted rain, 21 stalwart classmates showed up and  actually teed off for the 50th Reunion Golf Outing. Bill Carnes organized the event and explained the rules to  a few people who were actually paying attention.

Paul Miles, John Walker and Kevin Conlin seemed to be tuned into Bill's presentation.

While a few of the others weren't exactly on the same page.

Fran, Rick, Tony, Jerry, Helen and Bob appear to have their own agenda.

Congrats to our classmates, Carl Kowalski 

and John Cooke,

who were recently inducted into the AWHS Academic Hall of Fame. There will be an induction and luncheon on October 28th , 2012 at noon at the Neighborhood Club in Quincy where their latin class notes will be bronzed and donated to the Hall of Fame. Nice job guys.
